2. Once installed, open your terminal and type sudo nano /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base . Go to the last line and add this: options snd-hda-intel model=lenovo

3. Save and exit. Now type alsamixer. Check and make sure all the channels aren’t muted. close the terminal

4. Now double click the Speaker icon on the desktop panel. Then go to Switches tab and uncheck the headphone.

5. Go to System then Preferences and the finally Sound.

6. In the Devices tab you have to change the settings for the sound to work. In the Sound events, choose PulseAudio Sound Server.

7. For the Music and Movies and Audi Conferencing choose Alsa – Advanced Linux Sound Architecture.

8. And last but not the least, On the Default Mixer Tracks choose Alsa PCM front:0

9. Reboot your system. After the reboot the sound should be working.

2. Extract the files to your desired location. (take note of this because you will use it later)

3. Open your terminal and type: sudo apt-get install ndisgtk.Once the installation is done, close your terminal.

4. Go to System then Administration then Windows Wireless Drivers.

5. Click install new driver and go to the location where you extracted your windows driver.

6. Select oem.inf and click Install.
